“Oral Histories”
Ceramic, Gold Luster
8.5” x 4.5” x 4.5”
“Oral Histories” explores how families pass down their stories and how memory travels across generations.
Often, that history arrives fragmented - pieces lost, details blurred, truths reshaped by time.
Sometimes, parts are unearthed again, if only half-remembered or half-understood.
Yet within all that is forgotten or rediscovered, there remains a seed of truth.
Like a quiet heartbeat, it is enduring. And if you listen, it can connect you to where you come from.
“A friend from home”
Ceramic Sculpture
6” x 5” x 4”
This pinch-pot sculpture is a memory rooted in home-sickness for my home town of Toronto.
An unofficial city mascot, the infamous “trash-panda” is mischievous, dexterous, and will absolutely find a way into your green bins.
